| Biographical |
• Grew up in South Jordan, UT, a suburb of Salt Lake City on the family ranch. When he was young, his father, Stuart, rodeoed. The family business revolved around boarding horses and raising steers and pigs on their property. Kevin remembers helping with the animals as a kid, feeding them, cleaning out the stalls and chopping the ice out of the water troughs in the early morning. "I used to get up at 5:30 in the morning and do my chores for like $1.50. My dad was a real-life cowboy. He stopped riding in the rodeo when he shattered his leg in 20 places. When he retires he'll get back into the ranch life. I love going to rodeos because that's what I was raised around. I just picked a different path in life." |
