Biography
William Mays Eyre . . . wife Rachel (Lucas) . . . son Jackson (12/14/04) . . . 1996 graduate of Cyprus High School (Magna, Utah)where he was All-Region in 1995-96 and All-State in 1996 . . . attended College of Eastern Utah where he was an All-America selection as an outfi elder in 1997 and 1999 . . . Signed to minor league contract with the Rangers after being non-tendered by Minnesota after the 2006 season...went 1-0 with a 5.32 ERA in 42 relief appearances for the Twins in 2006...contract purchased by Rangers on April 21, 2007.  Brother of Giants' pitcher Scott Eyre.
